Past 52nd Street Projects

For over twenty years, The Enterprise Center has contributed leadership and investment to the historic small business corridor once know as "West Philadelphia's Main Street." Read on to learn more about our past projects on the corridor.

Banner Design Contest

In the fall of 2020, The Enterprise Center held a street pole banner design contest. Local artists were invited to submit concepts to bring new branding vibrancy to 52nd Street and celebrate the area’s culture.

Buy Black 52nd Street

The Buy Black movement has never had more momentum, and it resonates with The Enterprise Center's core mission as a nonprofit that supports and empowers entrepreneurs. With that in my mind, and with the longstanding history of black entrepreneurship on 52nd Street and the heightened focus on 52nd Street revitalization, we present #BuyBlack #52ndStreet.

Walnut Hill Community Farm

The Enterprise Center manages the Walnut Hill Community Farm and the Max Paul Park at 4610 Market Street, next to the 46th Street El station. The space is open for the public to sit on the benches, eat a meal at our picnic tables, or just walk through and enjoy the park and farm.
